Putting a Cd-changer in a 996 that doesn't have one

Chaps, is it possible to put a proper Porsche CD-changer into a 996 if it didn't leave the factory with one? I remember that my last car came "ready for CD changer" as standard, although you still had to pony up two hundred quid for one :-)
If not, I guess I'll have to look into an after-market solution. Any recommendations on hi-fi dealers/fitters?

To fit, if not already there, you will need the Porsche bracket. About £35 from OPC. Wiring is already in the car which has been stated earlier in the thread.
Mine was fitted with heavyweight double sided tape as the Silverstone has different fixing holes to the bracket. It looks just fine.
Don't forget to set the angle of the player (big round disc on side of player) as it will be upright and the unit comes out of the box with the angle set at horizontal.
The CDC-3 also turn up on ebay evry now and again. I think there's one on at the moment. Personally I went the new route with the Silverstone and live with the fact it doesn't have Porsche written on it.

There are 2 types of becker silverstone i forget the nos but you can buy one type new for less than £200, BUT ITS NOT the same as the Porsche changer,
The porsche CDC3 is about £450 from porsche , BUT is only £200 exchange, so its cheaper to buy a knackered one off ebay for £50 then part exchange it for a new one from porsche
The difference in the becker Silverstone models is the size,
