Surrey Run 2 - 'The Screening'

Steve and I recon that it might be quite a laugh to find a venue with a decent screen (which we can hook a dvd into) where we can all enjoy this masterpiece in the spirit in which it was filmed

My thoughts would be a Tues or Wed evening or a Sunday afternoon - somewhere where we can 'take over' w/o causing too much chaos and soon b4 xmas debauchery takes over!

Neither the VW or SR1 (Ripley) pubs have screens - so help needed to find one. Whilst I not suggesting a blast to Swindon Marriot (or am I?!) a decent hotal w a screen might be an alternative if they let us invade their bar.

So who's interested? . . . and what venue suggestions can we come up with?

Come on Guys and Girls, where are we gonna meet? And it should be soon, as I'm starting to post them today...starting with the folks furthest away and therefore least likely to be able to make a pub meet up.

I cannot think of a suitable venue in the Talbot/Surrey area. My local is afterall a Wetherspoons and has no TV, which does not help.

Does anyone have a friendly landlord that would be happy to host such a night?

Otherwise if people are happy to sit on the floor (will rapidly run out of seats), and we can find a night, my house has a big TV and sound system to match.
