B:censored:d vandals - why do they do it???

I was happily cruising round to my mates house the other day, pulled into his drive as normal, got out of the car and the top of my drivers side wing caught my eye in the light!!!

Some little scrote has run a key or knife along the top... It stretches from halfway along the top of the wing/light tunnel towards the front - including the light surround, probably 2-3 feet of scratch.

If I EVER see anyone doing this to mine or anyone elses car, god help them!!! What in gods name would they want to do that to a classic car which Im desperately trying to preserve to be enjoyed.:punch:

[small] Having taken the car to my local bodyshop, they sanded and buffed the area - the paint underneath the laquer appears to have 'moved' - ie you can still see the scratch even though you cant feel it... c:censored:ts! [/small]

Just had 3 panels done (front to back down one side) on the wifes TT. It's Ming Blue pearl as well so it aint gonna be cheap.

I cannot explain how annoyed I was.

Yes, quite. You'd get worse by driving above a low speed (set by some pen pusher) through a revenue camera or laser trap.

God knows why people do this kind of thing. It is not always the stereotypical chav either. They must be very sick and sad inside.

The other morning I came out to see all the wipers on all cars either snapped off or raised and several wing mirrors on the floor all the way down the street.

Fortunately my car was parked at work - for that very reason, however my comment was if I caught the litttle scroates I'd say fair enough, my wing mirrors, your ears.......

Vandalisim is one of those instant blood boilers as it's just so fing pointless.

My sympathies to anyone who suffers from it.
