...or as we say round these parts, a late tea.

A couple of generous glasses of Jura single malt, followed by a decent red as I put the fillet steaks on the cast iron griddle. Nicely steamed asparagus with plenty of butter and a sprinkling of salt topped off with a poached egg. An oven full of chips.

Cant work out how I managed it for all three of us, merry as I am, even washed up as I went along. Dinner is served and the kitchen is immaculate too. Treacle tart and custard next.

A nice quite Friday eveNing in :)

where did that capital 'N' come from?

Gonna get back on the Jura now, it's bloody lovely.

I don't know what I find funnier warben, the image of you with a chef's hat and a glass of red swaying as you put the chips in the oven, or the fact that in between courses you've logged on here to explain it!
