Me and a couple of mates are hopefully going next year and have been offered camping in the above.

houx annexe this year.

Site was rowdy and very enjoyable.

the rounderbout was the focal point and i would recommend it to anyone.

Houx is more organised with allocated pitches, so if you are in the annexe get there before Thursday evening.

Worth staying, just for the roundabout exploits. Its well organised and each year various groups battle it out with their own firework display on the Sunday night. Plus there a pub a few hundred yards away.

Take the tickets! Houx is a beautiful campsite with attitude. It comes with it's own race track and spectator viewing area (middle of the roundabout). The fireworks are spectacular, and sometimes defy gravity - just to keep you on your toes!

You've probably missed the boat in that case, the Stella Bar was next to the tunnel at tetre rouge that took you under the track at the top of the Mulsanne, on the right hand side as you drove in towards Houx.

I believe that whole area may have been redeveloped for this year and the Stella Bar has been flattened to make way for the new tram network....

Having spent a lot of money in there this year I can vouch for it being un flattened and in fine form as per usual

Houx it's self is very civilised with marked pitches, water/electric points everywhere and very good toilet/shower facilities.

Houx Annex is a little more "boisterous" with if-you-put-tape-around-it-it's-yours camping. Judging by the number of generators I'm guessing little or no electric.

Both have good track access - Houx Annex is closer to Tertre Rouge, Houx it's self is closer to the pit straight.

Houx annexe is a damn fine site. Houx is civilised and more expensive and almost impossible to get a ticket for.
