Hi all, bit of an odd question but my girlfriend lost the paper sleeve/cover of her first edition harry potter book (4th one i think) and is really down about it. Do any of you guys know a printing company or place that you can order replacement covers/sleeves for hard back books? maybe a web link or something? she would be really grateful (as would i!) thanks guys

There are a few bookbinders still about who can rustle up a plain cover.

Try yellow pages.....

Or ask your local university for the names of bookbinders who bind dissertations for students....

Sorry i dont think i explained it very well. she needs a reprint of the paper cover that came on the hardback book. she removed it so as not to damage it when reading it on the train and now she has lost it. i was wondering if it was possible to get a re print of th fourth books cover to put on to her hardback. i know its a long shot though.. any info is appreciated

I suspect it'd be easier (and cheaper) to buy another copy of the book (but hide it and pretend you went to trouble to get just the dust-jacket).

I believe they are the printers of the Harry Potter books.
Might be worth a call.

Hey you got to play this one out till Christmas in that case......like there's only one left in the world and youve got to climb mountains and swim shark infested waters just to get near the fiercest tribe in the Amazon that have the cover hanging over a snake pit, then all of a sudden Christmas morning......
