A hand strap is a strap that comes off the side of the body and attaches at the top and bottom of the camera and is for girls...
Or you could get this, if you can face the embarassment: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Utra-Hand-S

Now you've got all this new kit can we expect some decent pics for a change? ![]()
I'm currently torn between the desire for one decent monitor, or two ok ones, let us know what you think of the Lacie.
dobbo...
getting two ok screens instead of 1 good one kind of defies the point of investing in monitors in the first place IMO. The Lacie is a great screen (although I havent calibrated it yet) and for just under 500 quid is pretty good value.

I suppose my problem is that my PC isn't just for photography editing - infact that's probably only a small percentage of what I use.
For the phot editing I do, and also for HTML code I write i find two screens invaluable for workflow. I'd sacrifice a bit of quality to retain this I think.

You could get a couple of these, or one of those and one of these
Or if you're feeling flush, one of these
Excellent quality, and I've been very pleased with the 2005 and 1905. The 2005 is actually the same as the 20" Mac Cinema display under the skin, which is very highly rated.

Ooh, shiny toys.....
I wish they would do 19" monitors that go to 1600x1200. They certainly used to, till they realised they would sell more 20" ones if they stopped....

Interesting to see that the 2005 is £356.38. I bought a Outlet Dimension 8400 and managed to get a brand new 2005 with it at what worked out at £220 (incl VAT)!! Very please with it and with both digital and analog inputs I can switch between my server and PC nice and easily without a KVM.
