It's for your air con temperature, adjust it at your peril.

I thought I heard someone mention that there is an aircon temp adjuster in this area. Never looked at mine and haven't seen anything in the handbook either.

Hopefully someone will give you a definite answer as I'm new to Cerbs.

No tried that, to be honest it dose'nt seem to do anything but it's connected to something so it has reason to be there.

looks strange .. not like the air con thermostat cos that never has a knob on it and it is usually tucked behind the side carpet. and what's that black box doing resting on the grey cowling? that's not a tvr part .. the two may be linked .. any identifying code numbers or manufacturer markings on anything ?

edited to add piccie.

Hi there trackcar the black box thingy is a tvr torch that works believe it or not, the dial does have a fan symbol on it but does'nt seem to do a anything to the aircon though.

I've got a dial there, but with no nob on it. I just thought it was for the instruments illumination but thought that it didnt work. I'll have to see if it makes any difference to my aircon.

if it has a fan symbol then chances are it is the air con temp control, maybe a knob got fitted to ease turning the adjuster. if the box it's attached to looks a bit agricultural and has a capilliary tube coming out of the back of it and two pink wires then that's the air con adjuster.
