Time lapse video of an Ultima being built.

During the 10 months that it took me to build my Ultima GTR, I set a time lapse camera to take a photograph in the garage every five minutes. I compressed the resulting video down to a 24 MB file (running at 15 frames per second).
The video goes for about 11 minutes. I think it is an absolute hoot - especially if you compare the first and last frames.

!!Excellent, I enjoyed that. And it gives a much better impression of the amount of work involved than the usual "it took me 'n' months to build".
I loved the perambulatory stool. But what was the step ladder for? And where's all your garden machinery, bits of old wood, old paint tins, deep freeze, work-bench, ride-on lawnmower & all the other cr*p that my garage is full of?

Step ladder was used to hold a halogen light. All the rest of my junk was just out of camera shot, to the lower left of the screen. That area has about 20 feet of work benches, bench saw, router table, rip saw, all my tools and tool shelves, ride on lawn mower, snow blower, 20 ton press, bench mounted cut-off saw, grinders, junk, junk, junk.
I'm lucky that I have a big garage - probably 1000 square feet or more. I also worked on the center section off camera. That was on trestles for a good 4 months.
Plan is to add another similar sized garage on the other side of the house, with a greenhouse on top attached to the kitchen. I'm also fortunate that I have some good cheap land!
