What do you need doing, just unpacking onto your website?

yes, and installing requries tapping in the locations of the server etc. I thought I knew how to do it but clearly i don't know my root from my elbow!

I'm hoping someone can download the program from OScommerce.com, take my ftp (wtf?) details and stick it online and then install it (apparently done online too)

Arghhh, I've just discovered that it apparently won't work on an easyspace server due to REG GLOBALS being set to off or something.
KYnet can run it for £20 a month with support. Sound reasonable?

If you get stuck, I am sure there are many here who can help. Reg_Globals itself is a bad thing and PHP advise its disabled (infact I think its disabled by default now!) but there are many ways around it!

As an alternative, our Register1 VDS Pro comes with OsCommerce as a 'Power Tool'

This makes it a simple 'one click' install. No worrying about server settings or gubbins of the like.

Alan, Jamies advice is going to be your path of least resistance to be honest.

A significant saving over £20 a month as well...

I agree with that one - osCommerce is a great piece of software, but a pita to work with (I know as we customised it extensively a while back for a Uni project)

heheh.

its £66 pa if you buy the 3-4-2 (you get a third year thrown in free if you buy 2 years @ £99 plus a free domain) which lowers the total cost of ownership to £66 per yr

Feel free to drop me (or my sales@ guys) a line if you have any queries.
