Anyone run 19"s on a 996TT ??

Anyone out there running 19" wheels on there TT's ?

Am considering some options, and wondered how much these effect the ride/handling of the car.

Adams Ruf RTurbo has 19s on it, car drives fine (I've driven it on road and track), although it will be more fidgety than 18s as less sidewall. Also you cannot get tracktyres in 19s, but if it's for your TT Cab then it's a poseurs car anyway, so go for 19's......

It's just to spruce up the look of the Cab next year, as i think i'm gonna run it for a good few years now, due to these horrific reidual stories everywhere.

I like the look of the Gambella multi spoke ones you see on the back of most Porsche mags.
Or maybe some 19" Techarts.

Won't need track tyres, as the nearest it will get to a track is the paddock.

Yeah our 19s look fantastic(imho of couorse) but they let you down dynamically in terms of the fact that they weigh so much it just insnt funny.

19s fro crusin, 18's with Pilot sport cups for serious work!

Good ride not hard and great grip, I have 19" Rial racing wheels with Yokohoma tyres brilliant combo

The Rial's are very similar to the Gemballa racing alloys but about £1000 cheaper. I was going to go for the former, but 9M suggested that with over 500bhp, I'd be better going for race proven ones.

I have to say that I had lusted after the Gemballa's for a couple of years and I have not been disappointed!!
