Car clubs- is this a record?

From this January I would have been in the Aston Martin Owners Club for 12 years- since I was 14-without ever owning an Aston.

Is this some sort of record? Has anyone else been in a club for years without ever owning the car??

Hmm Im pretty sure that a lot of us on here are pretty sad when it comes to certain cars!

Although 14 years in the owners club is rather... um... nlyteasing:

Only 6 years of drooling after an Elise for me, someday, hopefully soon, I will have my very own.

(Already specified to the tiniest detail, with a scale model of it... now thats sad!)

I've been the Saffron Walden and Cambridge Mini club for the last five years without have a Mini on the road for the last three, nothing like your record though.
