the best time to describe any car is within the 1st day of ownership, i've had my chimaera now for errr a while and i've gotta say it feels slow, within reason, and no there's nothing wrong with it its 100% just me used to it and yes it gets a propper booting when the road allows, do i sell or spend and try and keep the 1st day of ownership alive how we (me) take things for granted after a while, mmmm! that'll be at least 120k then to get anything near the preformance of a 5ltr i'll try leave it alone for a few weeks and see if that does the trick lol, i cant be the only one that thinks the same though can i?

TVR Power are working on supercharging, with one of them being a kit for the 4.0 to take it to 5.0 power levels .

Try driving something slowish for a week or two then going back to the TVR - feels scarily fast just like when you got it!

Mine is the 5 ltr so maybe i'll get the head check done, mmmmm! tuscan s, or 4.5 cerb, i cant join the speed six guys cus there's just to many tissues i mean issue's to deal with for me, the jumping out of something slow for a week doesn't work either cus i drive my van monday to friday, there is just one thing i'm going to try though before giving up on the old gal and thats a descent set of shocks and spring witch from wot i've heard will tottally change the car for the better, i've also got a gsxr 1000 (2003) witch doesnt help, wonder wot the fu*&k that bugatti veyron feels like 0-100 in 5 seconds flat and 10 seconds quicker to 200 than the maclaren fl, ouch that things gotta hurt.

i think the problem is the bike,when you have a powerful bike like you have then nearly all cars feel slow....get a moped then the chim will feel like a rocket,but seriously i am the same as always had bikes and no car has scared me the same that a bike can.i can only suggest a bike engined light kit car or similar to beat your cars speed without spending big money.

I agree with Rob - if you've got a Gixer Thou then no TVR is going to feel fast. The only thing you can do in the car is go sideways more safely, although drifting bikes into corners seems to be 'the new knee down' - anyone see Fith Gear this week? Cracking shots of just such a bike! That guy is a seriously good rider .
