2.7 RS Carrera - Help!

I am thinking of possibly buying a 2.7 RS Carrera. Does anyone have any thoughts on the current state of the market for these cars or any contacts with cars for sale? I would probably be looking at a Touring as it would seem to be the cheapest spec.

There's one knocking around at £29,995..metallic blue Touring so wrong colour and I've no idea of the condition, provenance or whether it's lhd or not (guess it is)...check out October's (ISTR) Porsche Post

Lots of fakes and replicas around, so you must get an inspection from specialists who know the RS.

roughish cars from 30-35K upwards, 45-50k is about right for a decent 2.7RS

LHD a bit cheaper.

Autofarm sometimes have them, or edmund harris, best off joing the car club and then looking in the classifieds.
