Hi all picked up a 94 4.3 chim tonight, what a monster! been driving a vr6 corrardo, but the chim is somthing else. near death expereance on the m23 on the way back to brighton, pushed the accelerator a little to much (already doing 60mph) and had rear of car squirming all over the place, unitentionally, i am a sensible driver, power took me by surprise! needs a bit of work doing on it any one know anyone close to or in brighton with a good reputation. Can't wait to get out in the dry with it!

Welcome and take care on the wet roads.

These cars are fun in the wet but you really need to learn their handling characteristics in the dry first.

Provided your rear tyres are of same type and inflated properly you should be able to loosen the rears under power in a straight line without issue. The LSD will keep them working in harmony. You will certainly feel interesting rear end activity in the rain if you are turning through even the slightest bend.

Picked mine up a couple of weeks ago - but was blessed with dry weather for the trip home (which also meant I could keep the roof off!!). Second car, so hoping not to have to face rain too often. Can't believe how much fun it is though...

Word of advice.......
Use them as much as you can, they don't like being 'garage queens'.
Plus, you have a much bigger grin that when driving your 'tin-top'!!
