Had to happen. I suppose after them losing a lot of contracts it all had to come to an end. Its a shame to see the old names go. But I did see an old Pye TV not that long ago.
They were the backbone of the radio industry of the 70's and early 80's. Many a radio ham has had a converted westminster to use, and maybe like me still have a load of old rackmount radio stuff.
Still I do like Ericsson (sony?) stuff.
