What's the least number of flashes you've had from a set of batteries and what kind of batts were they?

I changed my 3000mAh batteries a fortnight ago. 1st time since Christmas. I have no idea how many flashes I got from them as I spent ages "playing" with the 800 and 600 using the command mode just to get things right

BTW - to answer you're question I haven't got round to getting some proper batteries yet, but I reckon I got somewhere between 100-150 out of a set of Energiser Alkalines.

I woz somewhat surprised/dissapointed that for the money it doesn't come with a cell like the D70 does

Depends how much grunt it gives, eg full belt or 1/128th etc.

Never conked out at weddings, though the strobe is a bit limited in practice as it only does 3 flashes before needing to catch up.

I was (sorry, woz) too, but the answer I heard is that Li-Ion cells are better suited to low current purposes, eg running a camera, whilst AA batteries are better for giving a hearty chunk.
