I've noticed a few cigarette burns next to the drivers seat in the carpet, a new carpet has been quoted at over £400. Does anyone have an idea on how to make an invisible repair to the carpet?

Cheers

specialists can do it for about £20 per burn. Worth going through the Yellow Pages. what colour is the carpet? black is easy to match for example simply by cutting out sections and glueing them ontop. It wouldnt make it invisible but much better I am sure.

Look for an advert for a Smart repairer, either that or ask your local dealership / OPC who they use, I had a couple of biggish cig burns (3/4" long) removed by my guy on one of my customer's cars, took about half an hour and you couldn't tell where they had been.

Cheers, I'll do that, fortunately it is black carpet so this should help.

Think Chipsaway do a "dash-away" service that repairs scuffs, holes & burns on dashboards, seats, carpets etc.
Worth giving your local one a call, their repairs are never 100% but as said, being black you should get away with it if its only 80-90%
