TVR reveals Cerbera plans

Following speculation on PistonHeads' forums in recent days, TVR has revealed that it does have a Cerbera 2+2 replacement on the drawing board.
But don't get too excited: you won't see it for at least 12 months.
Spokesman Jason Oxley said that the Blackpool company was considering such a car but couldn't say whether it would make production.
"It's still only on the drawing board and it's just too early to say", he said. It seems possible though that it will be powered by a new V8.
Oxley added that TVR was focusing on the Tuscan convertible, as seen by many at the recent London TVR event, which will see the company through to the New Year.
However, be assured that the PistonHeads news team is in touch with the factory and will be bringing you news of other developments as soon as we're able.
They are teasing and toying with us surely, tugging at our heart strings!!!! And what about the sentence "New V8 developed from Speed 6", thats another way of saying AJP8 with the 32 valve head!!!! I hope it happens, not like the Typhon thats always just around the corner but never produced in numbers that you can count on more than one hand!

I'm sure you could pick a few (pottential customers) who would be keen to view a Cerb replacement..
Those selected would naturally have to keep their traps shut of course.. that's me out then

Don't know. It's early days so I suspect it's just a long term project to look at various options.
Personally I hope they wouldn't change the basic look other than perhaps some subtle changes to lights/mirrors/wheels/front spoiler etc.

I've now decided what car I want next
What we need to do now is let TVR know how much we want it, by asking your dealer, talking to people at MPH, offering a deposit toward one etc. Is there anyone at the factory you'd take our requests?
If they know they've a queue of customer waiting to take the cars, they're more likely to go for it.
