Oh....sigh............

My Tuscan has been at HL Gorner for over a week now having the paint work looked at under warranty, plus afew 'niggles' (pod screen one of them) being sorted, and guess what, we have the best autumn weather for 'roof off' driving for years. :grumpy:

Have to say that so far the guys at HL Gorner have been great, after collecting my car form Nottingham to go up to them! Looking forward to visiting when my car is ready.

That is very sad news. I too am naked, stripped of my car at least, whilst the clutch is looked at under warranty up at Silverstone.

The trauma is close to unbearable. I can't eat, I gamble online, and I look at woodlice longingly.

Support group? Can someone lend me their wife? Anything!

Try giving enough money to the tax man in one go to actually buy a Tuscan.......THAT stings!! Especially when it buggers up your plans to actually get one during the same year.

When I had my pod done through Gorners, I was very surprised in the tunaround from the factory. I worked out that the pod actually got sent back the next day at the latest, maybe even the same day! Gorners also rushed to put my pod back in for me too, so if you give them a ring they may have given you a worst case estimated time.

I didnt get my car back on time though, though not for that reason. There was a problem which meant my indicators flashed at double speed which was a wiring problem somewhere behind the dash which took 8 or 9 hours to find. That time was considerably cut because the pod was already being taken out and replaced on a separate costing.

By far the most costly small piece of wire I have ever owned...

Oh Dave, son of Hezekiah,
May the spit of a thousand camels destroy the seals on your cluch slave cylinder. I hear camel spit is quite corrosive, and combining my resentment with an Arab insult seems a good way of blah blah blah blah blah.
