In the recent thread, and the bible, www.tvrbooks.com the consensus of opinion was that you'll need an 072 with as much cold cranking power as you can get. An 075 will fit and although physically slightly smaller, would be the best choice if it was the most powerful.
I bought one recently locally, about £60, and over 600 amps power.
TBH the best thing to do is to take the old one with you when you go shopping. You can ensure that its going to fit, and that the terminals are in the right orientation, and if you're lucky, the place you buy it from will get rid of the old one for you. (probably not Halfords
