Quill Exhausts

I've been looking for a road legal can to replace the OEM item for my Honda CBR600 FX.

The bikes on 30'000 miles and i think needs a little help in the power stakes.

Just wondered if any of you have used Quill before.

Pro: British Made, Road LEgal, No removing Baffles, No need for re-jetting, MOT and Police safe

Against : MAybe too noisy ?, Mail order only,

Any ideas ? What do you think ?

I don't know anything about this particular make of exhausts, but if I were you I'd be buying one from a local shop and maybe even have it fitted by them. It just gives the peace of mind that you can go down to the shop and shout at someone human should something go wrong, rather than ending up on the phone to a call center.

I've heard a lot of good things about Quill. Good quality products ;-)

I had a pair of carbon oval Quills on my last Blackbird - was very impressed with looks and sounded great (to me anyway!!)
There was no noticeable power loss and were a fraction of the weight of the originals.
So a big from me then....

If they are Road Legal and Police friendly then I would think they should be fine on the noise stakes.
Is there any contact # to phone or email to ask what the noise increase is if there is one ?

I haven't heard of them being slagged off at all, so they should be OK. When I was considering a can for the ZXR I did look at Blue Flames, don't know if they may be worth a look at as well

Change of plan

Went to the bike show and gor a BRAND new Titanium Road Legal with removable baffle can, will all required fixings for ....

£165.

Looks ace too.

Couldnt find anything that looked as good for the money.

Oh and the firm are new
