Can any of you recommend somewhere to get my 35mm slides scanned onto CD and how much they cost?
:bounce:
I have about 50 odd initially but would like to get about 200 scanned eventually.

I've arranged to send some here:
http://photoscan.slx-online.biz/index
but haven't got round to it as I want to be selective and haven't catalogued yet.
Price was about the best I could find and the bloke I corresponded with seemed OK.

Most places are about a quid each.

I've got a Nikon Coolscan3 for sale if anyone is interested, I haven't got the patience and got bored about 200 scans in to the pile of about 2000 I need to go through.

Most high street palces will do it for you too, e.g. Boots, Jessops, Supersnaps and independent dealers. Make sure you specifically ask for them to be scanned at the highest available resolution as otherwise the results can be a bit disappointing.

When I got my films developed at Kodak the images were 300k and they scanned the print instead of the negative, so the edges were cropped
