FChat exiles - what next?
Discussion
So fellow pi$$ed off FChatters from the UK section, I imagine all of us hate the way Rob Lay spoke to us and called us a$$holes and terrorists.
The question is what next?
I propose that we hit him where it hurts. Even if we eventually go back, we make it clear that no one ever pays for a subscription again. Secondly, we should inform his advertisers that we'll boycott any company advertising on FChat.
That should do it :)

The second point is not worth considering. At least one of the sponsors is a Ferrari owner and user of the site that you know and many people buy his products. Another appears to have little say in whether his company should sponsor and his products have been and will be bought by many members.
As for not paying, a number of UK members will have taken out 5 year memberships. I don't think that a handfull of people not subscribing is really going to make much difference if you look at the number of subscribers.

Apart from Hill Engineering as he's one of us. I would imagine that he gets a lot of exposure in the US sections which he wants to hang onto. Not fair to penalise Paul for trying to make a living
That also goes for the other UK sponsors, Verdi and Scuderia Systems

Yes absolutely, and Ken's right that we need to leave the advertisers to make their own decisions. And yes I agree Paul does need to advertise to his US customers, and Rob Lay's actions should not affect him or any other advertiser.

Only thing y'all are getting across is I don't run the Ferrari UK section and you are a bunch of lawless troublemakers.
Just read that thread and all I can say is - what a racist narrowminded fool. How do people lacking all intelligence ever end up driving a Ferrari?
