can't say I have notices a white balance problem with my 430ex

Thanks for the heads up on that.

I use the 430 with my 20D and to date I haven't noticed ant cast to the images....sods law will dictate that my next image with that combo will look green!

did the upgrade anyway - images look too warm now lol
