Hi my 996 litronic headlamp wash stopped working. The chrome bits are not popping out, although it still makes a noice. And lots of water leaks out from under the passenger side wing/wheel arch. Can I fix it or wait till the next service for OPC to do it? Any advice!
If you can get the at pump you may be able to disconnect it to prevent more wasted fluid. Or maybe it has its own fuse.
Sounds like a connection has bust or the pump has split, causing a loss of pressure from reaching the headlight jets. Not that expensive to sort,,,connections are a couple of quid and a pump is 35-40 pounds depending where you get it from. Hopefully just a pipe has come off and it wull be a cheap repair.
But how do you get to these pipes, do you need to unscrew plastic under the wing?
