When we used to transit accross the oceans, we used to cross time zones, and the bridge would shift the clocks accordingly. It sucked. Every few days you'd either have an extra hour on duty, or an hour less in bed..It sucked!

Cuckoos and little drummers run around inside, and then on the hour, every hour, they come out of wee little flaps, and sing and dance...

It's high time they stopped ing around with the clocks... it was supposed to be a temporary wartime measure, should have stopped when the war was over. Just when it's getting dark earlier anyway, they have to go and make it a whole hour worse... those in charge should have 10000000000000 clocks shoved up their arse until they stop doing it.

I think they had double Summer Time in WW2.

PS Now I can see into the future, replying to a post before it is posted.

They experimented with permanent BST from 1968 to 1972.
Not very nice, still dark at 9 AM. That was in Somerset, further north it was dark even later.
