I used to love playing this game as a kid, will beinteresting how they convert it to film.

Im really interested in how the car will look

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0382315/

"Former F-15 pilot Alec Sects (The Rock) is recruited to become a member of a government agency called International Espionage Services (IES), specifically joining an elite group called the Spy Hunters. Piloting an experimental battle-car, the G-6155 Interceptor, with all varieties of weapons and gimmicks (including the ability to transform into a speed boat or a super-fast motorcycle), Sects and his fellow Spy Hunters are given the assignment of defeating Daemon Curry, the evil president of a cartel called NOSTRA International, which has plans of world domination. Of course, the bad guys have their own souped-up weapon-packed vehicles, and they don't like being "hunted"."

John Woo? Might be an interesting project... Loses a bit of credibility with the Rock, but might be an entertaining 90 minutes like Doom...

I dont think I would mind being typecast if I was earning the kind of money he is. I just hope he doesnt go down the same route as Arnie and do films like Twins

He's already done a little bit off-type comedy work - played a rather gay bouncer/minder in Be Cool - was quite funny in at actually.

The Rock's great! I've enjoyed all his films and he's a bit of a rofler in Be Cool. I saw him being Punk'd the other day too and they had to rush out and tell him what was going on as he was about to hospitalise someone

Not a big departure though
