Englands most photographed Lamborghini
Discussion
Another outing today with GI_Jnr's Murcielago, took the chance to practice my panning technique, quite pleased with some of the results.
Some static ones first:
A few panning shots:
And finally, being the legend that Tuan is, he let me have a drive (I think mainly so he could hear what his car sounds like at full chat with the Tubi exhaust on it!
Check out the tight lipped frowning face of concentration!

Looking back through these a second time, number 1 is a nice image! Is there any detail left in the sky though? A sureptitious bit of burning might be in order.
Martin.
Probably loads, the original was underexposed (no surprise with a D70) and I've done my usual trick of cranking up the contrast....
i'll revisit it tomorrow and see if I can rescue the sky.

probably sh*t scared he might SPLASH the photographer.
Hmm..... Interesting point. If he'd left me the car in his will, I might have been less careful!
Trackdemon - I'd actually forgotten Simon's Murci, otherwise I'd have titled the thread "England's second most photographed Lamborghini"

What distance were you from the car in the first shot, and what lens /f/ mm did you use ?
Very nice shots,
cheers...
It's the 18-70 kit lens at 18mm, there's a polarising filter on there which accounts for the small amount of vignetting in the first two.
I was about 2 meters away at a total guess, 18mm whilst not that wide does distort a fair bit. I've got another one at home shot at 70mm stood a long way back, the car fill the same amount of the frame, but the perspective is much flatter, and thus less dramatic I think. I'll try to post it up tomorrow morning for comparison.
F number will likely have been 3.5 given it was very gloomy and I had a polariser on there.
