When GI_Jnr asked me to drive his car so he could hear what the Tubi sounds like from outside, I thought about it for all of 0.0000004 of a second before jumping in.

My head was slightly sore from last nights manouvers, but 580 horsepower soon focuses the mind. The traction control light blinking away furiously helped to blast away the last remnants of the hangover.

Tuan, you are the biggest legend in England, who else would trust their £165,000 supercar to someone else? Granted I'd have to give you my house/car/girlfriend if I'd crashed it but still....

Love the colour on the Murcie

(would still rather have a bright orange one though)

Did the owner used to have a purple Gallardo? I;ve seen either that plate or a very similar on one.

Cheers

I have to confess I only trust a handful of people with my cars, but I'm always happy to give up the passenger seat.

Only the other day did I give a passenger ride to someone who was having a nose around the Murci at my local video shop.

It costs nothing to be nice does it... I remember the first time someone gave me the time of day when I was having a nose around their Ferrari when I was younger. It can change the lives of some people.

If you're down my neck of the woods, get in contact and I'll see if we can meet up.

So true - us sports car enthusiasts - especially those of us with the more oulandish machinery are often percieved as being rich nobs. Anything we can all do to make sure that perception is banished is a good thing I say. Top man Tuan

(P.S. Great colour - not Rolls Royce Larkspur Blue by any chance is it?)

Agreed. We are lucky enough to be able to enjoy our toys pretty much whenever we want. I remember coming back on eurotunnel [no convoy, just a shopping trip]. Young girl brought over her cousin who was over from the US and was a Ferrari fan. It cost me nothing for him to sit in the car for the half hour or so crossing and the look on his face was to treasure!

NB I agree with Rich's comment re the colur, I think it suits the car, compliments to the cameraman as well.

I have to confess to this being a motive also. It's good to play the nice guy.

Officially, it's Azzuro Aquarius pearlescent. Similar to Ferrari's Grigio Alloy but with more of a blue hue...

Thanks for the kind words about the car, it's a shame I'm having to consider letting the car go. :frown:

Ha ha, I was only joking about the queue.......I don't blame you, there are far too many fools out there to just casually pass car keys around, especially to £100k+ beasts like a Murci.

You are indeed a true gent, thanks for such a kind offer. If I am down your way, I'll let you know beforehand!
