Can anyone recommend somewhere in South Yorkshire area, where I can have a towbar fitted? Prices and opinions on the service would be helpful.

Try Towsure in Sheffield (0114 250 3000). They've been making towbars for decades, distribute them nationwide and have a cheap-enough fitting service. Always very helpful chaps, too.

What to a Tamora ???

Wedge automotive fitted one to a wedge - not sure about putting one on a Tamora, though.

Generally getting an independent to fit them is less that half the price of getting a dealer to fit. In London, a VW dealer quoted me £400ish for putting one on a golf, and I got one done privately for £120. the fitter said that he generally does the work for that dealer - what a mark-up!
