Well after eight years working for Westover sports cars I have decided to follow through with a heart breaking decision and I have handed my notice in to my boss at Westover group.

All I wanted to say with this thread is a VERY VERY big thank you to all our lotus, tvr and ferrari customers for there support and in a lot of cases friendship over the years and all the guys and gals that have attended and enjoyed our trackdays and indeed made it all so enjoyable for me to!

What makes it so sad is that I have even taken the big step of moving out of my home town and will be leaving Bournemouth to pursue my career with a big group in the midlands family an all!

Again thank you to all that know me and don't worry iam very sure Westover will look after you in the future.

With all my best regards

Dominic Fancini

Dominic, I got wind of this yesterday. I am really sorry to see you go, I have enjoyed your company, expertise and sence of humour. I am also glad you have found a new challange.

I have not thanked you enough for the shear briliance you have shown in helping me deal with Lotus. You have always been the pinicle of professional service and I believe Westover Sports Cars will have a real problem replacing you.

It may be easy to replace a member of staff, but your expertise and the enthuisam you have shown to me and the BoLOC's will be impossible to replace.

Congratualtions on your new "career moove" and I personally thank you and wish you every success.

Thanks, you will be missed.

Dominic saved me a long drive to Caterham by letting me test drive a Sport160 and Type23. Missed out on a sale due to timing (I was moving back to the UK). Hiwever I drive an Elise every day thanks to those test drives. He's also improved the service centre no end.

Good luck with the new job

Only owned a Lotus for 11months and in that time my interaction with Westover has always been influenced by Dominic's precence.
If he was there it was excellent, in his absence, good, but not as good.

I am sorry to hear of your departure and hope your career move is all that you dream it to be.

Keep in touch, let us all know how things are, and possibly even where you are. You never know where one of our BoLOCs runs could take us to.

Thank you guys trust me I will miss being in the dealership and again as strange as it may sound I will miss you guys (aaaawwwwwwww).
However my long term intentions will keep me involved with lotus, but for the next few years it will be in Leicester but my involvement will be marginal whilst I focus on some "other franchises" to get them up and running.

Now I have actually got round to signing up to piston heads I will defo keep in contact.
