Just about to change the oil and filter on the Cat before Wednesdays track outing. Thought it would be a bright idea to change the plugs as well as the engine is running rich so they're probably really sooted up.

Anyone have any recommendations on which plugs to buy or does it not really make any difference?? Also what gap should I set on the plugs (is this unimportant too??) The engine (2ltr Pinto) is running on twin Weber 45s with Aldon electronic ignition but apart from that is unmodified.

Anu nuggets of info much appreciated!

Just buy bog standard NGK plugs. The super expensive 4 electrode/platinium/rhodium plugs offer longer service intervals, but on a kit car where you are likely doing quite low anual milage it's really a non-issue.
