I want to make some beauty parts for the kitcar with the appearance of carbon fibre. They are not structural parts, just look like cf.

Whare do i find info re the process and where do i find a supplier for small quantities of fabric and resins etc?

Anyone looking for carbon I would strongly recommend looking to local boat builders. I get all mine from a local boatyard supplier and pay a fraction of what I've seen elsewhere.

As to technique - there are as many different ones as there are parts can be made, depends on what you want to do really! basic elements are making a mould, slap on carbon and resin, squidge about, leave to cure and remove.... but in reality that's probably taking the simplistic approach too far There is a wealth of info out there on the net depending on how complex (shaped) a part you are looking at.
