Does the Monaro accessory belt fit the 2000 HSV's?

Hi all, I am assuming that the belt is the same, but it would be good if someone can confirm eitherway.

Certainly does. Quote 6PK1995 if going to a motor factors.

You would be better equipped with the Gates part no as most motor factors know what you want but cannot trace it on size alone.

I am running the following Unipart part number: GMV2000 I have been running for over a year and its available at my local factors on the Isle of Wight. It is 5mm longer than the GM part.

Thats OK with the new revised tentioner but on a 2000 model that would be well dodgy, lost enough belts to know.

Hi Will what is the revised tensioner and where did it come from?. Having trouble with noisy tensioners.

Well at the time I was loosing belts the Oz Police were having the same problems, especially when chasing bikes, remedy, new tentioner, if you put it on yourself you will need all your grunt to get the tentioners in place for the belt to be slipped over, original one was a lot easier but less tension.
