Not been a good day today, I was suppost to be getting my new motorbike delivered today after a long wait and was looking forward to it. The bike was suppost to arrive about 11am this morning but then the courier who was transporting the bike phoned and said that he was going to be late, very late and he wouldnt make it until 6pm. I was a little annoyed at this but though oh well, roll on 6.

After tea which was around 5.30pm i got a phone call from the courier to say that he had broken down only 20 miles from my house and i have no transport which would take a motorbike . He said the turbo in his van had packed in and he had phoned the AA to come and pick him up, i asked him if the AA guy would stop in at my home to drop the bike off (As you practicaly need to drive past my house for the courier to get home, back to England) but the AA recovery driver refused.

So now my bike which came so close to my home will need to go back down to Leeds and i will need to wait for the courier to find and replace the turbo.

Any suggestions or the like?

look at it this way, if you had the bike when you did the guy may of dropped it off the transported. so its fate that you didn't get it today.

Probably doesn't help as i know how eager i was when i was waiting for my first new bike (looking at the front window every 10 minutes), but i've been like this since i had my off on the bike.

I seen the thread on that, was realy sorry to hear it. What are you going to get to replace your bike?, i know nothing realy compares to riding a bike if bikes are in your blood.

would like to get something special like a RSV1000, but would probably end up with a reliable rice rocket as i would need it to get into work everyday. But i would probably only think about this in the future. for now i am going back to cars until i have at least one sprog in the family. Family jewles took quite an impact and i don't want to run anymore risk until later on in life :ifyouknowwhatimean:
