New Bridgestones

I have just ordered 2 new Bridgestones from e-tyres for home fitting on Saturday for £140 inc VAT valve and balance. That struck me as very reasonable. I'll post again when they're fitted if there are any hidden catches.

I would have thought £70 each corner was reasonable until I started looking for some tyres a few weeks ago.

First quote I got from National Tyres in Northampton was £96 each tyre but after a few phone calls and a bit of haggling they ended up charging me £250 for 4, fully fitted - I was well pleased!

In April I bought a set of four Bridgestones fully fitted for about £220.00 from Micheldever Tyres. I can't remeber exactly how much they were as I had the wheels refurbed at the same time. The total bill was around £400.00. Very impressed with their service and prices. Thoroughly recommended.

Yes, and I'm told that, like a Silverstone B&B, they're very good in the wet.

RE720's. I think they are Bridgestone's replacement for the RET's that were fitted originally and are now discontinued. Supposed to be good in the wet but I just think they look good.

They are the ones I had fitted and I'm very pleased with them. I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
