Worst driver in UK jailed

MOTORING menace Howard Bloor was behind bars yesterday after his driving record was branded the worst in Britain.
Builder Bloor, 59, admitted three charges of driving while disqualified and one of failing to provide a breath specimen.
A court heard he had 28 convictions for driving while banned and 27 for drink driving or failing to provide a specimen.
Bloor, of Eccles, Lancs, was jailed for five months and banned for three years.
Prosecutor Chrissie Hunt told magistrates in Blackpool that when he was charged with driving while disqualified he told police: “You’re boring me now.”
A day after pleading guilty to that offence, Bloor was stopped driving the same car 20 miles away in Chorley.
He asked police: “What have I done wrong?”
Five days later he was spotted driving a van in Salford — 20 miles further south.
This time police smelled alcohol but Bloor refused to take a breath test.
Trevor Colebourne, defending, said: “He has been called the worst driver in Britain and he has an appalling record.
“Yet he has never had an accident.”
Mr Colebourne added: “Curing an insatiable desire to drive vehicles when he should not be driving is very difficult.”

Who would people rather have on the roads? This chap, who has loads of DD convictions but no accidents, or that bloke from "Britains Worst Drivers" programme, who doesn't Drink Drive (probably), but has already written off 30 cars? (Guy looks about 30-35)
Interested thats all, whether people would go for the known risk, or the one with the biggest stigma attached.....
Don't answer "neither", as that is just boring.

I'd have the DD guy on the road and the nobend accident guy committed indefinitely.
the other guy, good as he is at hitting stuff doesn't seem to have much chance of killing anyone - he hasn't yet..
but when the DD man *does* have one there's a bloody good chance someone will come a cropper..
Natural selection must be promoted
