Found this this morning, and although I will never be one to ram 'giving to charity' down anyones throat I just thought a few PHer's might be interested in some of the things on offer

How about this - it'll certainly get PH a good name.

Why don't we try and blag a track day, get as many exotic PH machines as possible there, and give people rides for £1-5, or as much as they'll pay. We could ask for some unfortunate kids from local hospitals/homes etc., and they could have free rides - as long as they don't nick any wheel hubs/valve caps etc.!

We might all get on telly as well!!

When is Children in Need, anyway?

Just had another look around that auction site, how about a 20 minute ride in an old jet fighter pulling 5G current highest bid £350
Or a day being shown around McLaren, and it's all for charadeee
A track day would have been good but it's a bit to late I think When's the next worthy cause?

The skyline guys did a trackday event similar to that which Nubbin describes, went really well apparently.

Sounds like a great idea, and just because the "official" TV night is over doesnt mean all of the fundraising events have stopped.

Ive taken part in this helping to run one of the callcentres for the last 2 Children in Need events, and there are still events going on for a couple of weeks after the high profile TV stuff is over.

How about taking some time and doing a big event for Comic Relief which is running in March. I am sure someone would give PH a track, and theres time to advertise.

Hmmm, comic relief. Anyone know anyone with a track - or someone who works at a track?
