Hi all

Well things seemed to be going well with a tidy little mk indy blade , however i have been astonished by insurance quotes.

Here goes the scary bit i am only 20 wich has so far thrown up no real problems, Footman & James offered less than £800 on numerous 2lt v-tecs / duratecs etc but did their nut when i mentioned a non tuned little 919cc blade engine! Good old adrian flux have stood by their claim to insure anything anywhere anyhow but at the princley sum of £2000!!!.

If anyone has any ideas i would appreciate any and all help possible. If not i may have to resort to a 2lt mapped vauxhaul engine
(with more Bhp & more top end!)

Have you tried MSM insurance? They seem to have given people decent quotes on kits in the past.
Not sure why BECs are getting loaded so much though, possibly because they're popular at the moment?

give MSMInsurance (google it) a ring - they are the perfect insurance brokers in my eyes and I won't hesitate to recommend / take out another policy with them. Everyone I spoke to there is truly helpful and remember you (which is a very nice touch!).

Graham Sykes used to be competitive, but aren't at the moment. Adrian Flux were never reasonable and Footman James seem to be fairly expensive as well.

Most of the other insurers won't touch under 21's unfortunately.
