I'm having problems keping my sand leather on the Jag clean. The leather picks up the colour from my jeans and other trousers, and having sports seats it looks especially grotty on the wings. Wiping with a soap and warm water solves it for a few hours but is not a permanent solution. Living on the continent I have no access to halfords or similar.... Any solutions guys and gals?

I find that ZYMOL Leather care and Conditioner do the trick in my car.

Disclaimer: I do not work for Zymol, Nor do I get paid any royalties. Darn!!!

Donno about Zymol but Swissol have local people all over Europe (and a German office) (www.swizol.com/) and have something similar.

Thanks for all the tips chaps,. Just spent 15 minutes on the phone with leathercaredirect.com, Steve Merritt, who could not have been more helpful and is extremely knowledgeable on restoration and care of leather! He helped me so it's an unashamed plug for him. Not tried the product yet but ordering now............will keep you all informed

PS. as opposed to swissol the arrogant shits, wouldn't even talk to a customer "go to your local dealer and he'll tell you about it"

sorry... BUSY day!

Anyway, I'll avoid the obvious "knob gags" for Ted's sanity...

I found on the Puma that the best option was the Autoglym leather cleaner and the feeder cream worked a treat.

(handy hint... the afore mentioned company is associated with Ford's PAG products, hence may be designed to work well together?)

Saw it straight away and had to restrain myself but this is serious thread and I don't reckon John would have appreciated it being hijacked into a nob gag.

Well spotted though
