What the hell are they all about FFS

NTL keep shuting the modem down...why I don't know nor do they

Hours spent being passed from pillar to post... not to mention the wasted time on the phone.

At last I have them calling me back for a change after I lost the plot

Another out sourced cheap for the company jobbie but US for the customer.

Mobiles ringing I wonder who that is?

And they treat you like an utter dummy - hello? I earn a damn sight more then you'll ever know in IT!!!

I know how to get in to the command prompt and type 'ipconfig' in 2 easy moves. I don't need to be hand-held

"Sorry sir, it must be this Linux/Solaris you're using. We don't support that."

Right. I have 5 machines on 3 operating systems. Every single one of them shows the same fault. I have eliminated the swich I use. What do you think it might be...

MAC address... they have had mine for 4/5 years and they can't find it and I have PINs galore

Quote from someone somewhere "if you turn your modem upside down you will see the MaC ID" and "how long have you been a customer Sir"... errr 10 years maybe more

Really how many more times ..how about I turn you inside out and extract your lungs..Mr Top Dog no nothing ct

To be fair, they've got the best grasp of English that I've come across in an Indian call centre

Which is precisely why I cancelled all my services with them, and saved myself about £20 per month to boot. Got a Freeview box, Demon internet and a BT landline.

NTL, in my experience, are utterly incompetent.
