There appear to be a few people on here (including myself) that could benefit with some tuition on how to get the best out of their cameras. Maybe we could get together one day and learn a few tips from the experts on the forum. We Would need to find a nice location maybe a few nice cars prefably with some kind of power so we can look at the results on a pc or laptop i have one place that we mite be able to use. What do people think?

Now, I think that various PHers have got together, in London IIRC, although I wasn't able to attend 'cos something came up. It wasn't D70-focussed (if you'll excuse the pun) IIRC.

Who's interested on sharing D70 (and D70s and possibly D50, I guess???) ideas and roughly where are we?

E.g. I'm in Hertfordshire/NW Greater London - and willing to go anywhere in the, say, surrounding 50-80 miles for cameras (and cars)

Problem is you can have 50 people say they are up for it - if none of them is the "expert" then it's a non-starter!

I'm not an expert by any means, so couldn't offer my services in this area...

You're quite right.

If you want "tuition" the answer is probably to register (and pay) for Nikon UK's courses, which I suspect I quite excellent and I have been considering myself!

If an alternative is for a half a dozen people to get together to share some ideas (which is obviously informal, involves no consideration, therefore nothing nasty like health and safety issues and liability insurance to contend with) - well I'd be up for that! We don't need an "expert", we just want to pick each others brains to see if we could do better.
