Now Nico Rosberg is confirmed at Williams for 2006 - Is this the third son of an F1 driver to make it to F1 (I'm not counting Piquet...yet) Were there any others ?

So far, I have...
Nico Rosberg, son of Keke
Damon Hill, son of Graham
Jacques Villeneuve, son of Gilles

AND, drum-roll...

Christian Fittipaldi, son of Wilson, and nephew of Emerson. I'm pretty sure Wilson Fittipaldo did some F1 races, maybe even in the Fittipaldi F1 car???

Can't think of any more at the moment

Surely there were more? Damon Hill, Michael Andretti, Gary Brabham and didn't one of the Schekter Boys at least have a testing job (if not a race start).

Yes, until he was caught kerb-crawling in the red-light district of Northampton in a company Jaguar, he was the Jag F1 tester at the time... Doh!

Hans Stuck drove in F1 I think, and his dad, also called Hans, drove for Auto Union in the original silver arrows days.

I believe that Gary Brabham did not actually start a GP.
If we're including GP entrants, then in addition to G. Brabham, I think we need to include Reg and Tim Parnell.

I'm surpised no-one has mentioned Giles Jessop - son of the renowned F1 wheelsman Edgar Jessop? Edgar's history speaks for itself - Giles's is a little more obscure, but he did qualify for the 1967 Isle of Man TT - which counted as a world championship event that year, filling the space vacated by the Manx rally which was cancelled due to the Foot and Mouth epidemic.

Yes, that was a glaring omission.
If we're going to go for marginal criteria (such as entering but not qualifying for a GP or including the IoM TT), then do we include the "Grands Prix" of Australia and New Zealand, which were won by Stan Jones, Alan's father?
