If you plan to change in a few years from new then I wouldn't bother. Longer than 5 years then I would. A new owner/dealer won't see any deterioration in the first few years.
No but they may notice the waxoyl and think Oooh this has been done from new - this must be a careful owner etc.....

They might also think the chassis looks all gunky and mucky due to the dirt sticking to the Waxoyl
