How many miles?

Random question I know, but, I was just wondering what is the highest mileage anyone has seen on a chim?

I've got a Wedge with 97,000 and a Chimaera with 49,000 totalling 146,000 does this count?

My 99 Chim 4.5 is now at 60k.

She is my everyday car and is going strong, and TBH, I would rather have a high miler TVR that works, than a low miler one that is storing up problems for later on.

I did look at one with over 120K before buying mine though.

95,000 miles for me, 40,000 by me in 3 years. Uses petrol and rubber but not much else

65k...i have put 4k on in the 4/5 months i have had it...boat load of problems but all sorted now, was chasing one problem but replaced loads before i got to the root of it!!! Now it purrs...sorry, roars, really well!!!!

I think I'm right in saying that the RO for Northern Ireland had something like 115k on his 96 4.5, but that was several months ago. Must be over 120k by now. The car seems to be all the better for it.

60k on my '98 4.5, 12k in the last year or so in my tender care.

Lots of mid-life crisis parts to replace (starter motor, windscreen wiper motor, half the suspension, clutch release bearing, more electrics than I care to remember, rear screen). Now the cam's gone, so that's a good excuse to do the full head/induction/chip upgrade at the same time . Fingers crossed it then shouldn't need any big work for a long time...

Never breaks down though.

And definitely worth it!
