Can anyone recommend a good P2P platform? Is Shareaza dead?

I think Limewire is still going, or it was recently anyway.

The others were shifting to some remote pacific island where they dont care so much about copyright apparently.

Here are some torrent clients..

www.bitconjurer.org/BitTorrent/dow
www.ei.kefro.st/projects/btclient/
www.bittornado.com/
www.azureus.sourceforge.net/
www.krypt.dyndns.org:81/torrent/
www.pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/
www.TorrentStorm.com
www.shareaza.com
www.btsearch.net/

..and some torrent search engines,

www.torrentresource.com/

www.torrentspy.com
www.torrentsearch.com/
www.isohunt.com/
www.btbot.com
www.fulldls.com/
www.yotoshi.com/
www.hypertorrent.com/
www.throughput.de/

I mainly use DC++ from http://dcpp.net/ which blows torrents away, takes a while to setup properly and use but once it's running it's the bomb, here's a screengrab from the other night. I have a 50 GB share which gets me access to most good hubs, I have about 5 favourite hubs I connect to automatically.

Full screen version....

DC++ is very good. just search for DC++ on google and download that. then it is fairly easy. just select a folder to share (ie, my music) and tehn load the list of public hubs. choose one and start downloading.

there. easy!
