Spare front wheel for Noble M12 GTO / GTO-3
Discussion
Hello - I know it is an absolute blatant plug, but I have got a 10-spoke front wheel on eBay at the moment. I could say that this message is a "public service announcement" to assist other Noble owners - but someone might then say it is just free advertising. Oh, what the hell - it is there if anyone wants to bid. Sorry if I offending any sensitive souls, Mike!
OK, OK, I deserved that - so here is the link:

Please forgive me for being tardy and bid like mad!

Well I've bid all the way up to £3.11 but there's someone out there who's got deeper pockets. Outbid everytime! The excitements too much to take. Personaly I'd look at e-bay and think "this is a place designed as somewhere you sell things" and then Pistonheads and think "this is where people who can chat and gas about the cars" and then think hey what's this odd posting about a single wheel for sale - it looks a bit out of place. Do those guys who want to / do / or used to / none of those but are interested anyway - in Nobles really want to know about this single wheel? Probably not. Do they know how to set up e-bay so as to warn them of such things - probably yes. The alternative is that the seller may end up getting silly bids put in, but I wouldn't advocate that.

Paul C - I fully agree that Pistonheads is a place to chat about Nobles and eBay is a place to sell things, but also that there is a small commom area between the two as well. I have been a Noble owner for nearly two years now and have bought and sold Noble items on eBay. I moaned the lack of a spare and managed to purchase a couple of front wheels from eBay, but only really needed one. I thought it was perfectly reasonable to offer it for sale, as I was very pleased myself to now have a spare front wheel (and am still looking for a spare rear). If my sale does a Noble owner a favour I will be delighted, as many Noble owners have helped me in the past - equally I will recoup a little money that I spent on two front wheels.
It would be nice if everyone gained from this, let us hope so - Mike (no.200)

Greg - If you ever go up to the factory in Barwell, the guy that makes the headrests is based in Moat Way (on the left as you face the Noble factory itself). If you pop in, he has usually got them in ready stock and is pleased to sell to callers. I do hope that this is of assistance and good luck - Mike.

Thanks Mike,
I have been in there before to get a pump up lumbar bag fitted into my seat.
Nice company and nice chap that runs it.
I saw the headrests there but being in the furniture manufacturing business, I can't bring myself to spend nearly £200 on 2 blocks of foam wrapped in £10 worth of leather.
Happy to spend £50 or so on a 2nd hand set though
