griffith style headlamp covers

i was just wondering if anyone has fitted the late chim griffith style headlamp covers to an earlier car ? or looked into doing it

I asked the same question recently - its not a simple job unfortunately.

Do a search on headlights and it'll become clearer.....

I like the cowling on the headlights.

I do not like the ‘two part’ effect of the older model headlights.

Similar to BIIOAB, I had a look at a few previous threads on this subject. Apart from the ‘you should have bought a Griffith’ note, one or two other posters stated it would cost hundreds of pounds.

I hope someone has had it done recently and can help chris-tvr in his quest.

My recollection is that the whole panel was changed, so a simple swap cannot be effected as some bodywork/spraying would be required. It may be doable, but I didn't enquire further!

Don't Bother - Major job - Chevtrev was looking into it - but I think he has ALOT more important thing on now - 500bhp of them.

TVR Power have them on their Taraka demo and I read somewhere its a whole new front end

I know these Griff drivers are suppossed to have chest wigs but this is just silly
