exhaust manifolds

Hi all, have been watching flea-bay and putting wanted's on classifieds but have not been able to get hold of tubular manifolds for the 350i. I just can't afford the £500+ from ACT. Does anyone have a pair going cheap. Something like a swap from mild steel to stainless. I would buy the mild steel off them. Or has anyone bought a set and not fitted them. Please let me know.....UG

Mark. you already have second hand manifolds and you will be VERY lucky to find any that are much better than the ones you already have. Remember they are all at least 15 years old now. I can do new at a good price in mild or stainless sTeVeR

I only have the std cast Rover ones on at the moment. I meant if anyone was swapping from mild to stainless I would have the mild ones. Sorry for the mistake. What would be your best price ?

THey look good but I still wouldn't recommend them. The official TVR ones are tight enough to get in the space.

TvrCarParts have manifolds in stock at a reasonable price.

Yeh, seen those. Were tempted, but did not go for them as some say only fit those made for the wedge. Could anyone shine a light on this. Why and why not?

If these are just the standard TVR manifolds, I have a pair of my 350i that I shouldl be selling just the other side of Christmas. The reason I say "should" is I am selling the engine. If whoever buys the engine doesn't want the manifolds, then they will be for sale.

Are a set of Buick 300 (5.0l) cast iron headers of any interest to you? They have big ports (bigger then rover) and are snug to the block.

i got some new ones from tower veiw well cheap,(for a 350)was a couple of years ago, but worth a try.
